This is a partial list of what I've read over the past couple of years. Inmates aren't allowed to receive books sent by private individuals, rather only those shipped directly from publishers and booksellers like Amazon. Many of them were ordered for me by my dad, aunt Carolyn and my grandmother, and include both titles I requested and some that were not requested but greatly appreciated. Thanks also to Michael Millard, Scott Ainslie, and Nina, whose picks are always right on. The list is in no particular order, nor does it include titles - mostly thrillers and such - that have simply floated around the prison like letters in a bottle and made their way to me.
I'll keep updating the list as time goes by (which it does, however slowly....).

Wow, you've read quite a few books here but the only one I've read on your list is The Glass Castle. I would think you would spend quite a lot of your time reading just a a little escape.
Thanks for the comment, Karen! Well, if you've only read one book on the list, you at least read one of the best. So you've never read anything by David Sedaris?! If you liked The Glass Castle, you'd probably love both of the Sedaris titles on this list. The books are a collection of relatively short essays, so they're great books to carry around with you for reading when you're waiting at a doctor's office or whatever and have only 5 or 10 minutes of time to kill. The essays are hilarious!! My personal favoritem, I think in Naked, is "Don't Mess With The Rooster."
Thank you foor being you
